Just in case you missed it and you easily could have, since it happened so fast. At the close of the Golden Globe awards last night, Ricky Gervais thanked everyone for being good sports. He thanked the foreign press Association. He thanked viewers at home. Etc. etc. etc. and then He Thanked God for Making Him an Atheist!
That's right, it was perhaps his best joke of the evening, and it was overshadowed by the noise in the audience and the cameras pulling away as they began to run the closing credits. For me it was the perfect topper to his controversial monologue and other biting remarks, he opened the show with.

Bill Maher Addresses the Tragedy in Tucson!
In this extended interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper; Bill Maher, my Favorite Rational Agnostic tells it like it is...
As someone else mentioned, I think perhaps Bill Maher's best point here is how the media is always attempting to spread and share the blame in an attempt to seem objective, even when it's entirely inappropriate to do so.
Such as one news report which pointed out 'Extremists' on both sides and mentioned Jon Stewart and Glen Beck in a single breath... seriously?!
